Chadwick & Winters is a family owned and operated land surveying company with over 40 years of continuous service to Seattle, Bellevue, Kirkland, Mercer Island and the greater Puget Sound area. We are highly regarded within the development community, and partner with many of the area’s top architects, engineers and builders. We have a thorough understanding of local land development rules and regulations and maintain an excellent working relationship with local city and county agencies and staff.
Our Team
Brandon Winters
Principal, President, PLS
Brandon began his career in land surveying in 1988 working summers and weekends in the family survey business. Subsequent to a 5-year term with the City of Kent he re-joined the family business full time in 1996 when Chadwick Surveying was acquired. Since then Brandon received his professional license in 2009. Over the past 24 years in private practice with CWLS, Brandon has been a pioneer in the platting process within the City of Seattle and surrounding jurisdictions, creating solutions for complex development plans. In his role as company president, Brandon maintains a hands-on approach handed down to him from his father Bob, assuring the best quality control and service possible for the clients of CWLS.
Izabella Henry
Permit Specialist, Project Manager
Izabella is the point person for your permitting needs. She manages all permitting projects in our service areas and is knowledgeable in what is required with each city planning department to move your project from submittal through final approval. Brandon and Sue’s daughter joined the family business in 2017 and graduated from the University of Washington in 2014.
Seth Lorgen-Jones, LSIT
Lead Draftsman
A graduate of the University of Washington, Seth joined the team in 2005 as a Field Surveyor. After 8 years of field work under his belt he transitioned into the office and now manages a team of 3 drafters. He coordinates with architects and engineers to create the various topographic surveys, plats, and easements that help meet development requirements for a specific project.
Sue Winters
Operations Manager
Sue joined the team in 2018 after a 25-year career in banking having held leadership and management roles in the northwest. Sue manages company operations and employee and client relations. When you call the office, she’s the first person you speak with. Sue provides prompt and relevant information to expedite your requests, set up and schedule new and existing projects and resolve any and all issues that may arise. She is a graduate from the University of Texas, Austin and is happily married to Brandon Winters.
Robert Winters
Company Founder, PLS
Prior to entering private practice in 1983 as the owner of RH Winters Co Land Surveying located in Sequim, WA, Bob spent 12 years as a land surveyor for the Washington State Government. He ended his tenure with the state as the Chief Surveyor for the Olympic Peninsula Region. He has a combined 50 years of public and private land surveying experience. His experience and integrity has been widely recognized within the land surveying profession. He is also highly regarded within the legal profession, having served as an expert witness for numerous Washington state court proceedings.
Now that Bob has passed the torch to his son, Brandon, he has assumed a part time role with the company’s daily operations. He continues to consult with staff and clients whenever needed.
