ALTA Surveys

When purchasing and/or financing real property your lender may require an ALTA/NSPS Land Title Survey.  An ALTA survey is a comprehensive property survey that adheres to the standards adopted by American Land Title Association and National Society of Professional Surveyors.  An ALTA survey meets the stringent requirements of lenders and title companies for the acquisition of properties.

An ALTA Survey memorializes parcel boundaries, improvements, easements, rights-of-way, and other factors that may impact land ownership, including encroachments and unrecorded interests or uses.  An ALTA survey provides detailed information to title companies and ensures your title policy is comprehensive and all exception matters are identified, reviewed and addressed.

The ALTA land title survey provides you a clear view of improvements, easements, rights-of-way and other elements that may impact the ownership and use of the subject property, and the information that is displayed on an ALTA survey can be useful for future property re-design and development.  Chadwick & Winters Land Surveying (CWLS) has historically been a trusted resource for ALTA Surveys.
