Entry Level AutoCAD Draftsman, Land Surveying

Chadwick & Winters Land Surveying is offering a unique opportunity for an entry level drafter to join our multigenerational and family owned firm with over 40 years’ experience in the industry. The right candidate will have basic knowledge of AutoCAD and an interest in a career in the land surveying. We are willing to mentor and train the right candidate. Projects you will learn and work on include boundary and topographic surveys, short plats, lot boundary adjustments, site plans, as-builts, and detail and exhibit drawings. A willingness to learn and grow, good work ethic and punctuality are key qualities we are looking for.

Typical Duties and Assignments

  • Learn to draft all aspects of surveying products
  • Review drawings and building plans
  • Provide layouts and exhibits under supervision of experience draft lead
  • Communicate and interact with project managers, architects, builders, field and office technicians and clients.
  • Help prioritize projects
  • Collaborate with drafting team

Land Survey Field Surveyor, Party Chief

Chadwick & Winters Land Surveying is offering a unique opportunity for a qualified candidate to join our multigenerational and family owned firm with over 40 years’ experience in the industry.   The right candidate will be proficient in all aspects of field surveying including boundary, topography, ALTA, monitoring and construction staking.  A working knowledge of robotic total stations, GPS and manual surveying techniques along with familiarity with Leica equipment desired.  We deploy single man field crews equipped with state-of-the-art Leica equipment to perform field work.  Eligible candidate will possess the experience and a willingness to learn to support our business model.

  • Construction Staking and field support for builder clients

Lead AutoCAD Drafter, Land Surveying
