Builder Support Services include:

Construction Staking

CWLS provides accurate, onsite construction staking and site layout.   An experienced field surveyor under the direction of a professional land surveyor placing stakes on site that mark the location and elevation of proposed grades, detention ponds, utility structures, curb and gutter, buildings or any other improvements as shown on the approved engineering design drawing or architectural plans.  Typically our staking services include initial rough and final staking of foundations, verifying elevations, and providing benchmarks.

Design Plan Review/Pre-Construction Meeting

CWLS conducts a thorough review of design plans from a surveyor’s perspective, reducing problems with layout during construction and provide valuable feedback.  A professional land surveyor or qualified field surveyor attends any pre-construction meetings to ensure the best possible construction process, set expectations and deliver quality on-site support.

As-Built Surveys

CWLS provides detailed as-builts as needed to show the property “as it is built” at a particular point in time.   An as-built survey can document onsite improvements, utilities, amenities etc.

Monitoring

CWLS reduces risk by monitoring the stability of on-site and off-site structures for your construction project. We work with you, your geotechnical engineer, and City inspectors to design and implement an effective and accurate monitoring over the course of your project construction.
